PASSENGER
COMFORT
NB112 was designed for high-frequency passenger operations in demanding coastal conditions.
Stabiliser and interceptor systems reduce rolling and pitching, delivering a smooth and predictable ride across the short, steep sea states typical of the Normandy coast. Interior noise and vibration levels were a primary engineering consideration throughout the build, ensuring passenger comfort on both scheduled crossings and sightseeing excursions.
Barrier-free spaces and dedicated accessibility arrangements are integrated throughout the vessel.
EU COMPLIANCE
NB112 is among the first aluminium passenger vessels delivered in France under the amended EU Directive 2009/45/EC, Category B, certified by Bureau Veritas and operating under French flag.
The vessel meets all flag state, class, and operational requirements for domestic passenger services on French coastal routes, demonstrating Nova Shipyard's capability to deliver EU-compliant high-speed passenger vessels to demanding European markets.
YACHT STANDARDS
A full yacht-standard fairing and painting system, executed with AkzoNobel products, gives NB112 exceptional surface quality and long-term durability.
This level of finish, rare for commercial passenger vessels of this class, reflects Nova Shipyard's commitment to delivering vessels that combine commercial robustness with a refined exterior standard. The result is a vessel that stands apart visually while remaining fully fit for daily heavy-duty service.
