AUTREMENT

NB110 Autrement is a 24.98-metre marine grade aluminium ferry and sightseeing vessel delivered to Armor Navigation, Perros-Guirec, Brittany, France. Certified by Bureau Veritas and operating under French flag. Designed by Mer et Design, France.

Built to carry 200 passengers, Autrement operates on scheduled ferry services and sightseeing excursions off the commune of Perros-Guirec in Brittany. The vessel was recognised as WorkBoat World Best Large Tour Boat 2025.

BEST LARGE TOUR
BOAT 2025

Recognised by WorkBoat World for design, sustainability, and passenger experience.

Autrement was awarded WorkBoat World's Best Large Tour Boat 2025, recognised for bringing together three qualities rarely delivered in a single vessel: workboat-grade robustness, yacht-inspired exterior design, and a genuine sustainability mindset.

The award reflects Nova Shipyard's ability to deliver passenger vessels that set a new standard in their class.

YACHT DESIGN

An exterior that goes beyond the conventional passenger boat aesthetic.

The owner requested a vessel that would look and feel more refined than a typical commercial passenger craft.

The exterior profile was developed with yacht-experienced contributors, resulting in lines that transcend standard ferry design.

A yacht-standard fairing and painting system, executed with Jotun products, gives Autrement exceptional surface quality a level of finish that is rare for a commercial vessel operating daily in coastal service.

HYBRID-READY
ENGINEERING

Built for today, engineered for tomorrow.

Autrement is hybrid-ready, engineered to enable future conversion to hybrid propulsion through the installation of electric motors and batteries when the operator decides to proceed.

Solar panels support onboard energy management, reducing fuel consumption
and environmental impact.

The hybrid-ready architecture was treated as a full system discipline from the outset, with space, foundations, routing, and service access all considered during the design phase.

PASSENGER
EXPERIENCE

Comfort, visibility, and refinement at every point of the journey.

Class S propellers were selected specifically for their low noise and vibration characteristics, with the entire propulsion and installation package specified with passenger comfort in mind.

An upper deck hard top cover with panoramic glass panels provides protected, unobstructed views in all weather conditions. Interior seating by Compin Fainsa, aluminium decking, and teak guardrails deliver a premium finish throughout the passenger areas. A music and entertainment system, CCTV throughout, and onboard wifi complete the passenger environment.
